Veteran offensive guard Andy levitre has announce his retirement from the NFL after ten seasons according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“Unfortunately, due to injury my body won’t allow me to continue any longer,” Levitre posted on social media.

Originally a second-round pick of the Buffalo Bills out of Oregon State in 2009, Levitre spent four years in Buffalo and two with the Tennessee Titans before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons prior to the start of the 2015 season.  He started every game for the Falcons the next two seasons before the injuries started piling up in 2017.  He ended up on injured reserve only one game into the 2018 season with a torn triceps.  He was released by the Falcons this offseason.
