Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield practiced without a wrap on his right wrist Tuesday in preparation for the Jets and looked fine throwing the ball in individual drills, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Mayfield, who was sacked five times in Sunday’s 43-13 loss to the Titans, underwent X-rays on his wrist after the game, which were negative. But he left FirstEnergy Stadium with his wrist wrapped. By Monday, coach Freddie Kitchens said he’d be fine and that the wrist, believed to be bruised, shouldn’t have him missing practice time.

The Browns’ practice schedule is different this week because of the Monday night game against the Jets. They’re practicing today, off Wednesday and then back at it on Thursday. The Jets, on the other hand, are off today and back on the field Wednesday.
