The New York Giants will likely be without tight end Evan Engram, and running backs Saquon Barkley and Wayne Gallman in addition to wideout Sterling Shepard as they prepare to face the mightly New England Patriots on Thursday Night Football according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

This is shaping up to be a bloodbath of epic proportions.  Engram is reportedly dealing with a sparained MCL suffered in Sunday's loss to the Vikings.  Barkley returned to practice only 16 days after suffering a high-ankle sprain that came with a 4-to-8 week timetable but is highly unlikely to be cleared for the Patriots game.  A more reasonable return date is Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals.  His backup Wayne Gallman was forced from the Vikings game early in the first quarter with a concussion and remains in the concussion protocol.  And No.1 wideout Shepard is dealing with his second concussion in the past six weeks.

So who does that leave?  UDFA Jon Hilliman is the only healthy back currently on New York's roster.  Austin Waller will likely get promoted from the practice squad.  And rookie QB Daniel Jones will be throwing to the likes of Golden Tate, Darius Slayton, Cody Latimer and Rhett Ellison against a Patriots defense that has allowed only two offensive touchdowns in the first five games of the season.
