Suspended free agent wide receiver Antonio Callaway has signed with the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The XFL was supposedly going to stay away from players with off-the-field problems, but that was never realistic for a football upstart. Waived by the Browns in November, Callaway has four games remaining on the 10-game ban he was handed in November for repeated violations of the NFL's substance abuse ban.  A first-round talent who fell to the fourth round in 2018 due to off-the-field concerns at the University of Florida, Browns also frustrated the Browns with drops and unfocused play on the field in his short time in Cleveland.

One of the biggest names to join Vince McMahon's offseason NFL complement, Callaway has always been a major talent with equally big issues. He turned 23 just a week ago, so there is plenty of time for him to get things turned around.
