The Arizona Cardinals have had their first incident of the offseason. According to WTOL 11 in Ohio, undrafted rookie receiver Jermiah Braswell wrecked his vehicle and was charged with driving under the influence in Put-In-Bay, Ohio, on Saturday night, Jess Root of USA Today's Cardswire reports.

According to police, witnesses reported seeing Braswell driving an orange Camaro into Lake Erie, with the car coming off the road embankment at high speed and stopping in the lake.

Police found Braswell in the driver's seat, still trying to drive forward. Police said his speech was slurred and didn't know how he got in the water.

He submitted to field sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI (operating a vehicle under the influence). He was given a breath test and shown to be over the allowed blood-alcohol content.
