Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman underwent core muscle surgery Tuesday and is expected to miss eight weeks according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Hardman finished the year on injured reserve with a core muscle designation that kept him out from Week 10 to the AFC Championship. He'll be a free agent this offseason and could draw real interest from other teams in a shallow wideout market. Based on this report, he shouldn't have any problems being ready for OTAs, wherever that happens to be for him.
