The new Orleans Saints have inked restricted free agent tight end Juwan Johnson to a two-year deal according to the team's official website.

The deal, the details of which have to be announced, will tie Johnson to the Saints for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.  Originally an undrafted free agent out of Oregon, the 26-year old had a career year in 2022 with 42 catches for 508 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 games.  Those numbers could improve in 2023 significantly in 2023 with Derek Carr as his QB as Carr loves throwing to tight ends.  The change at quarterback could be enough to make Johnson a fantasy starter.
