The Bengals made a depth defensive end signing on Friday, adding Tarell Basham, Andrew Gillis of Cleveland.com reports.

The news was tweeted out by his agent, Kenny Zuckerman. Terms of the deal are undisclosed at this moment.

Basham, a six-year vet, has played for the Colts, Jets, Cowboys and Titans in his career. He’s posted 11 total sacks and has played in 82 NFL games.

Basham already has a slight tie to the Bengals and Ohio, as not only did he play his college football at Ohio University, but he played for defensive coordinator Jimmy Burrow, Joe’s father.
