Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, a former University of Cincinnati Bearcats standout, fired back on his "New Heights" podcast at Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase in a recent war of words between star players from both teams, Dave Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports..

"It is what it is. … Shout-out to Ja'Marr Chase for holding it down for his QB, but don't you ever disrespect Pat Mahomes now," Kelce said on the podcast with his brother, Jason. "If you want to talk your s---, talk your s---, pimp. Just better back it up. … I'm pro-talking s---."

Last week, Chase was asked his opinion about the best player in the NFL and answered with Burrow, adding, "Everybody knows that." When Chase was told Burrow chose Mahomes, Chase replied, "Pat who?"

The Bengals and Chiefs are scheduled to meet in Week 17 of the 2023 season, on Dec. 31 at Arrowhead Stadium.
