Free agent running back Kareem Hunt says he plans to play in 2023 according to Jeff Schudel of the News-Herald.

"I'm just being patient. I've had some things come up. But right now, I'm enjoying my time. Training and just staying ready."  The 27-year-old Hunt's market has been ice cold since the Browns let him walk at the end of the season and he has made zero free agency visits.  The Commanders and ex-Chiefs OC Eric Bieniemy have been linked to Hunt but it is hard to see where he would fit in Washington with the established duo of Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson.  . Interest in Hunt and unsigned RB Ezekiel Elliott should heat up closer to the preseason.
