The Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert says the team isn't sounding the alarms despite dropping to a 2-4 record following Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Daniel Valente of theScore reports.

"No one's gonna quit, no one's gonna panic, no one's going to give up. … We're gonna be a better football team because of it," Herbert said postgame, according to Chargers Wire's Alex Insdorf.

Herbert completed 17 of 30 passes for one touchdown and two interceptions. Both picks came in the second half when the offense also failed to score.

It's Los Angeles' second straight loss; the team fell to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

Head coach Brandon Staley said the Chargers need to start a new chapter following Sunday's loss.

"It's frustrating," Staley told reporters, including ESPN's Kris Rhim. "I can't tell you why the season started this way. … It's no one's responsibility but mine. We've got a good football team, and we just gotta go, we need to reset."
