While not team claimed Brett Rypien on waivers after the Rams cut him this week, the Seahawks have signed the journeyman quarterback to their practice squad according to Myle Simmons of Pro Football Talk.com.

Rypien started for Los Angeles in last week’s loss to the Packers. He 13-of-28 passes for 130 yards with an interception. He fumbled twice, losing one.  That poor performance and Matthew Stafford's thumb injury spurred the Rams to replace Rypien with Carson Wentz.  Stafford is expected to play after this week's bye but Wentz gives head coach Sean McVay a much better insurance policy if Stafford suffers a setback.

Rypien won’t wait long to give his former team some intel on his new team, as the Rams will host the Seahawks in Week 11.
