The NFL is “zeroing in” on Sao Paolo, Brazil as the site of a 2024 regular season game according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated.
The expansion of the league’s international series — which is now in the UK, Germany, and Mexico — could be confirmed as early as today in league meetings in Dallas, according to Breer. An NFC team would be the home team for the Brazil game. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been intent on making football an international game, with some talk of one day having an NFL team based outside the United States.
