After leaving the game early on Christmas Eve, Minnesota Vikings tightend T.J. Hockenson will miss the remainder of this season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in his right knee, Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer-Press reports. He suffered the injury while absorbing a direct shot to his right knee as the Vikings suffered a 30-24 loss to the Detroit Lions.
He will head to injured reserve, and thus, will finish this season with 95 receptions for 960 yards and 5 touchdowns.
