Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney returned to practice on Wednesday according to the team's official website.

Toney has missed the past two games with a hip issue.  Patrick Mahomes is expected to sit Week 18 against the Chargers, likely with other Chiefs starters, but Toney is a candidate to play. He has struggled with drops all season and would fill in especially if Rashee Rice (hamstring) sits. Toney would remain off of any DFS radar with Blaine Gabbert at quarterback.

For all the drops and bonehead plays this season, the Chiefs appear to still believe in Toney.  And  the team would likely not have won the Super Bowl last February without his contributions.
