The Minnesota Vikings have "no plans" to trade wideout Justin Jefferson according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic.
The report comes a day after rampant online speculation that Jefferson could be on the trade block following Kirk Cousins’ departure from Minnesota to Atlanta. Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has said again and again — most recently at the NFL Combine — that Jefferson will not be traded.
Russini pointed out the team came close to extending Jefferson’s contract last offseason; he reportedly rejected an offer of more than $30 million per year. The 25-year-old is signed through the 2024 season.
