Rams GM Les Snead said Monday that quarterback Stetson Bennett is expected to participate in offseason workouts according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.
A fourth-round pick out of Georgia in 2023, Bennett participated in both training camp and the preseason last summer but then left the team for unspecified reasons. He remained gone throughout the season and very little information has been released. Head coach Sean McVay said in February that the team is undecided about Bennett’s future, adding that “at the appropriate time” the team will decide whether or not it’s ideal to bring him back.
An opportunity to workout in OTAs suggests the Rams are going to give Bennett an opportunity to stick on the team this offseason, but his roster spot feels far from secured.
