Jets cornerback Tae Hayes was arrested early Sunday morning in Alabama on a charge of marijuana possession, Paul Schwartz of The New York Post reports.  This according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.

Hayes was booked and released after posting a $300 bond.

The Jets, contacted by The Post, offered the following statement: “We are aware of the situation and we will refrain from further comment, as it is a pending legal matter.’’
