The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived kicker Riley Patterson, Demetrius Harvey of the Florida Times Union reports.
By waiving Patterson, the Jaguars now have just one kicker on the current roster: Cam Little, who was drafted by the team in the sixth round of this year's draft. The Jaguars have not announced a corresponding move at this point to bring in another kicker.
Patterson signed with the team via a futures deal in February. Patterson was with the team during the 2022 season, connecting on 85.7% of his kicks, including a 36-yard game-winner against the Los Angeles Chargers in the team's come-from-behind playoff win that year. The team moved on from Patterson last year, opting to sign Brandon McManus.
