Detroit Lions cornerback Emmanuel Moseley suffered a torn pectoral and is out indefinitely according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
It’s a disappointing setback for Moseley, who suffered a torn ACL in Week 1 last year and missed the entire season. Now, Moseley will almost certainly land on injured reserve in the coming days and will be out for an extended period of time while recovering from this injury.
Moseley is facing added competition for snaps, with the Lions adding Ennis Rakestraw and Terrion Arnold in this year’s draft. Moseley has played in just 17 games since 2021 after also suffering a torn ACL in 2022. Hopefully, he can move past this latest injury and return in time to play out most of the season.
