The New York Jets have activated veteran wide receiver Mike Williams off the PUP list according to the team's official website.

He will join the rest of the Jets in training camp this week.  Williams tore his ACL in Week 3 of the 2023 season and has rehabbed in recent months after signing a one-year deal with the Jets in the offseason. Entering his age-30 season, Williams profiles as the Jets’ main downfield threat and the No. 2 receiver behind Garrett Wilson.

Williams has said his goal was to be a full go for the Jets’ season opener against the 49ers. Originally a first-round pick by the Chargers, Williams has shown tremendous ability when on the field but his career has been plagued by multiple injuries.  A healthy season would be a boon for New York’s precariously thin offense.
