Rams coach Jeff Fisher has already expressed the team is open to the possibility of trading the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft.
But according to Dan Pompei of the National Football Post, the Rams want very much to trade the second pick of the draft, and are hoping a market develops for Robert Griffin. If they can’t deal, the Rams could stay put and take Justin Blackmon or Matt Kalil, but they would be better served with a trade down. Among the needs the team has identified are a cornerback, outside linebacker, defensive tackle, offensive tackle and two wide receivers.
