The lines of communication between the Jets and Darrelle Revis' camp have re-opened according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The parties spoke in the last 24 hours for the first time in over a month to try to find a solution to the All-Pro cornerback’s contract impasse.

About 48 hours before veterans are scheduled to report to Cortland for training camp, the Jets are apparently feeling a sense of urgency and realize that their most important defensive player may not show up.
