Directional Kickoffs
Emphasis on ability to hang the ball and place it

6 total kickoffs with the Kicker aligned in the center of the field with the ball set and kicked from the 30-yard line. Landmark barrel will be located on the 5-yard line midway between the sideline and the yard line numbers, to gauge Kicker placement.
3 kickoffs right with barrel placed to the right of the Kicker
3 kickoffs left with barrel placed to the left of the Kicker
The following will be recorded:
Touch to Toe
Distance
Hang Times
*Directional Success
*Directional Success is determined by the following: If the ball lands (on the fly) in the lane where the landmark barrel is located between the sideline and the yard line numbers, the directional kick is good.
