The Washington Football Team is expected to trade or release veteran right tackle Morgan Moses according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Most players that are on a release-or-trade basis with their team ultimately get cut because of the low amount of leverage the team holds when finding a trade partner. That is likely the case with the 30-year-old Moses but he was graded as a top-10 tackle by Pro Football Focus in 2020. A tackle-needy team could jump the gun and acquire him for a late-round pick. Originally a third-round pick out of Virginia by Washington in 2014, Moses has started every game since 2015 but he is due $7.8 million this year. Any team that trades for him will have to foot the bill for that portion of his salary.
