The kicking carousel for the Tennessee Titans continues, Ben Arthur of the Tennessean reports.

The Titans on Monday waived place kicker Michael Badgley, one day after he missed a PAT and a 46-yard field goal in Sunday's Week 1 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Tennessee is back to square one at the spot, where it has endured a rollercoaster the few seasons. Sam Ficken appeared to be the answer at place kicker after a strong summer, but he landed on Injured Reserve one day before the season opener with a groin injury. He must remain on IR for at least two more weeks.

Before Ficken was claimed off waivers from the New York Jets on Aug. 1, the Titans' frontrunner for the job was Tucker McCann, who was was waived-injured Aug. 23 after getting hurt in the preseason opener.

The Titans currently have no place kickers on their active roster. Coach Mike Vrabel on Monday indicated that the team would be trying out kickers in the coming days. Tennessee also has place kicker Randy Bullock on its practice squad.
