Bill Belichick: ‘More worried about the Bills’ than frigid forecast in Buffalo

For the second time in six weeks, the Patriots will be facing extreme weather in Orchard Park.

When they visited in December, Bill Belichick’s team was met with snow and winds gusting over 50 mph. There’s no precipitation forecasted when they return for Saturday night’s Wild Card game, but meteorologists are calling for a low of zero degrees: It’s going to be freezing.

Still, Belichick isn’t sweating the single-digit predictions, Chris Mason of Masslive reports.

“I’m more worried about the Bills than the weather,” Belichick said Wednesday morning. “I think the Bills are who we have to focus on and that’s who we have to beat. The weather is the weather.”

Belichick is notorious for having his players practice outdoors — no matter the conditions — and feels that his team will be prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws its way.

“We’ve practiced in just about everything we could,” Belichick said. “Any type of conditions we could have. And played in quite a few as well. There’s no way to turn the temperature down, or up, or anything else. It is what it is out there. I think over the course of the year we’ve dealt with most everything so I have a lot of confidence in our players.”
