The Carolina Panthers are interviewing former Giants head coach Ben McAdoo for their offensive coordinator vacancy according to Joe Person of The Athletic.

McAdoo was fired by the Giants in 2017 after going 2-10 to open his second year as the team's head coach. After flaming out in New York, the league has mostly forgotten about McAdoo. His only coaching experience since then has been a one-year stint as the Jaguars' quarterbacks coach in 2020. He has a handful of interviews to his name in that time as well. McAdoo spent the 2021 season listed as a consultant for the Cowboys. Moving from a Joe Brady to McAdoo in a few short months would seemingly be a step in the wrong direction for a franchise that has struggled to find its footing since moving on from Ron Rivera.
