New York Jets rookie running back Breece Hall is "now the Batman to [Michael] Carter’s Robin" according to Connor Hughes of The Athletic.

"The Jets will use both, but Hall is the lead back" adds Hughes.  Taken with the No.36-overall pick in this year's draft out of Iowa State, Hall has impressed in OTAs, with offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur calling him a "fluid mover" who "sneaks up on defenders" and who is "a special talent."  Hall was a star in his three collegiate seasons, named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in consecutive seasons and finishing with nearly 4,000 rushing yards.  He is also an accomplished receiver and projects as a three-down back in the mode of Ezekiel Elliott.  His stock, both in real life and in the fantasy world, will likely continue to rise throughout training camp.

That said, don't sleep on Carter.  A fourth-down pick out of North Carolina in 2021, Carter was a pleasant surprise his rookie season on an otherwise terrible offense with almost 1,000 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns in 14 games despite seeing little use early in the season.  He could be a steal in the late rounds of fantasy drafts as long as sophomore QB Zack Wilson shows at least a modicum of competence in 2022.
