Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Browns with a calf injury, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports. Cooks practiced with limitations on Thursday with the injury and did not participate in the team’s walk through on Friday.
Cooks has 44 catches for 520 yards and a touchdown this season, and coach Lovie Smith sidelined him for one game after Cooks missed practices following a Nov. 1 trade deadline in which the Texans weren’t able to secure a deal to send the disgruntled wide receiver to another team.
