Four days after the Chargers could not come to terms on a new deal with him and allowed him to hit the market, restricted free agent tight end Donald Parham re-signed with the team according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Apparently, Parham did not find many suitors and in the end re-signed what is believeed to be a one-year deal. After making some noise in the 2020 XFL season, Parham signed with the Chargers and earned a spot on the 53-man roster in training camp. Through three seasons with the team, the 6-foot-8 tight end has hauled in 40 passes for 479 yards and seven scores. He presents a massive redzone target but injuries and inconsistent play have thus far hampered the 25-year-old from becoming a reliable part of the Chargers offense.
