The Steelers signed wide receiver Cody Chrest on Thursday, Teresa Varley of the team's official website reports.

Chrest played at Sam Houston State where he was a two-time All-WAC selection.

He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2023 NFL Draft.

Last season he had 36 receptions for 548 yards and two touchdowns for Sam Houston State.

In three seasons at the school he had 131 receptions for 1,715 yards and nine touchdowns while playing in 31 games.
