The Jets have downgraded starting left tackle Duane Brown to OUT for Sunday's game against the Patriots according to the team's official website.
That could spell trouble for fill-in quarterback Zach Wilson, who will now be without his starting left tackle against the stout Patriots defense. Head coach Robert Saleh said yesterday that he expected Brown to play in Week 3. Billy Turner could slide right into the starting left tackle spot or the team could move right tackle Mekhi Becton to the left side to protect Wilson’s blind side.
