The Bills are making sure one of the best tackles in the game stays in Buffalo. Dawkins, a three-time Pro Bowler, has agreed to three-year extension with the Bills that keeps him with the team through the 2027 season, Alec White and Patrick Warren of the team's official website reports. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, it is a $50 million extension
Over the last several seasons, Dawkins has elevated his game to become one of the best tackles in the NFL.
Coming out of Temple University, Dawkins was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and started 11 games in his first season in Buffalo. Dawkins has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the past three seasons. Las season, the left tackle posted a 93 percent pass block win rate, the fourth-highest in the league among offensive tackles.
A two-time nominee for the NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year award, Dawkins has been an integral part of the Buffalo community, spending time giving back to the town he said welcomed him from the beginning.
