The Atlanta Falcons have reportedly agreed to terms on a three-year deal with former Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
The deal is reportedly worth up to $39 million and includes $26 million in guaranteed money. That is quite the haul considering Mooney’s sparse production over four years with the Bears. The Chiefs had reportedly been interested in the 26-year-old, who instead signs with a Falcons offense now quarterbacked by Kirk Cousins.

Cousins in 2023 ranked seventh among all QBs in completion rate over expected on throws of at least 20 yards downfield. Mooney should get plenty of chances for splash plays in what will be a pass-heavy Atlanta offense.
