Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons went after a local radio host during a live broadcast from training camp on Tuesday, Caio Miari of theScore reports.

Simmons - a team captain and two-time Pro Bowl defender - confronted 104-5 The Zone's Buck Reising as the radio host was getting ready to interview Titans cornerback Roger McCreary.

"You do a lot of talking on social media," Simmons seemingly told Reising during the confrontation, according to a video that has since gone viral on social media.

Reising clapped back.

"I'm right here, Jeff," he said. "We can talk anytime you want to. ... Unbelievable. Well, we will deal with that later on."

"Stop talking on social media and talk to me," Simmons answered.

"I'm here every day so they can do that," Reising said later on the show while addressing the situation, according to TMZ Sports. "When we have opinions on stuff, they should be able to address it with us. There's a lack of accountability, just generally, with people who talk in front of microphones and talk on Twitter and things like that. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a discourse."

It's unclear what led to the incident, but Reising criticized Simmons' behaviour on X earlier in the day after noting that the latter had an altercation with Tennessee rookie offensive tackle JC Latham at practice.

First-year Titans head coach Brian Callahan addressed his team's fights Tuesday and explained why Simmons wasn't ejected from practice.

"It's the first day in pads," Callahan said, according to team reporter Jim Wyatt. "Guys are cranked up. We reined it back and had no problems after that. I don't anticipate it being an issue. ... Fighting is not something we want to accept; it's not part of the rules of the game. I've explained that before and I'll explain that again."
