Carolina Panthers rookie wide receive Xavier Legette left practice with what coach Dave Canales characterized as a lower leg injury on Sunday, Anthony Rizzuti of USA Today's Panthers Wire reports.

“Yeah, it’s something in his lower leg,” Canales said. “I don’t wanna get into any details. We’re just gonna evaluate him this afternoon as a precaution, and then we’ll go from there. I’ll have more information for you guys.”

As first reported by Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer on Sunday, and seconded by Joe Person of The Athletic, an MRI revealed that rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette has not sustained a fracture to his foot. The 2024 first-round pick, who exited practice early this morning, is considered day-to-day.
