Chicago Bears wide receiver Freddie Swain was placed on injured reserve Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Swain signed with the Bears in May after spending the majority of the 2023 season on the Dolphins' practice squad. The Florida product will now miss the 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team
