Linebacker Chance Campbell, one of the standout performers of the Tennessee Titans' preseason, was visibly frustrated as he left the field with an injury just before halftime of the preseason finale against the New Orleans Saints Sunday, Nick Suss of The Tennessean reports..
Campbell was able to walk off under his own power but quickly made his way to the locker room with the athletic training staff. Before heading back through the tunnel, Campbell tossed his helmet and mouthguard and slammed his hand on a Gatorade cooler.
Campbell had logged 16 tackles with a sack, an interception and two tackles for loss in the Titans' first two preseason games. Injuries have plagued Campbell throughout his NFL career. Heading into his third season, Campbell has only played in four regular season games. He missed his entire rookie season with a knee injury and then reinjured that knee early in his second season.
