There is "a real possibility" that Tua Tagovailoa will be back for the Dolphins Week 8 game against the Arizona Cardinals according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
In a separate radio interview, Schefter said he thinks Tagovailoa is “going to be back” and “it would be more surprising if Tua didn’t come back.” Tagovailoa is reportedly symptom-free and none of the neurologists he has consulted has encouraged him to retire.
Currently on injured reserve, Tagovailoa is required to miss the Dolphins next two games, which are Week 5 against the Patriots and Week 7 against the Colts. Concussion experts have said that Tagovailoa will need to sit out an extended time after future concussions going forward.
The Dolphins offense desperately needs him back as their backup quarterbacks have sunk the entire offense. If Miami is 1-5 by Week 8, it is reasonable to question whether it is worth risking Tua's health for what is shaping up as a lost season.
