Wide receiver Davante Adams has informed the Las Vegas Raiders that he would prefer to be traded, Daniel Valente of theScore reports.  This according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo

The Raiders are growing open to the prospect of trading the star receiver, with the club reaching out to teams to gauge interest, a source told Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal earlier Tuesday.

Adams has been the focal point of trade speculation in recent weeks, including after head coach Antonio Pierce seemingly liked an Instagram post Monday about the possibility that the star receiver had played his final snap as a Raider.

The 31-year-old responded Tuesday, saying he was unsure why his coach liked the post and hadn't heard from him yet during an appearance on "Up & Adams."

It was previously reported before Sunday's Week 4 game that trading Adams wasn't currently an option for the Raiders. Las Vegas also reportedly turned down multiple suitors who inquired about Adams' availability over the summer. The New York Jets were rumored to be interested over the offseason, which would lead to a reunion between Adams and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The three-time All-Pro was sidelined in Week 4 and is reportedly week-to-week due to a hamstring injury. Asked about the possibility that he may have already played his final down with Las Vegas, Adams said Tuesday, "All I can control is this talk we're having right here, and then after we're done with this, all I can control is the next thing I'm on to."
