t least one hall of famer has his eyes on the Miami Dolphins quarterback situation. During a recent episode of “Nightcap,” Colorado coach Deion Sanders insinuated that the Dolphins should draft his son, Shedeur, if Tua Tagovailoa sustains another concussion, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.

“What do you do businesswise if you’re the Dolphins?” Sanders told co-hosts Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. “Do you take a quarterback, which is what I’m saying, or do you say ‘Tua, let’s check this out, let’s see what we’re going to do.’ Is his health more important than that?” It took a second or two for Johnson to understand where Sanders was going. When it finally clicked, the All-Pro receiver said the quiet part out loud.

“Let’s say because of the Tua injury and things don’t work out and it leaves an open and they make a business decision and go into the draft and boom: Shedeur to the Dolphins,” Johnson said. “So you just got the revelation huh?” Sanders quipped. “That’s why he brought it up, Ocho!” Sharpe exclaimed.
