Just hours after agreeing to acquire Amari Cooper in a trade with the Cleveland Browns, the Bills have announced that Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been released, Nick Wojton of Bills Wire reports:
In six games with the Bills, Valdes-Scantling caught only two balls on nine targets for 26 yards. On top of that, Valdes-Scantling did not contribute on special teams which was likely an even bigger factor when deciding to release him.
