Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. practiced on Wednesday according to Ben Standig of The Athletic.
Even if it’s a limited practice, it’s good news for Robinson’s Week 7 availability against the Panthers. He missed last week’s loss to the Ravens while recovering from the lingering knee issue.
Carolina, one of the league’s most generous rush defenses, would represent a fantastic matchup for Robinson, who has benefited from Washington’s run heaviness in the red zone this season. And it was clear last week that the offense desperately needs him-Austin Ekeler is still fine catching passes out of the backfield but, at this stage of his career, he had little success rushing against the stout Ravens run defense.
