The Tennessee Titans have released veteran safety Jamal Adams per his request according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Adams “is healthy and looking forward to his next opportunity.” The veteran safety did not play in Week 6 due to a reported hip injury, and has appeared in just two games this season.

Adams has a lengthy injury history and has played on just 17 defensive snaps this season. Until he can stay on the field and show some durability, it’s hard to view Adams as anything more than added depth wherever he lands next.
