Report: Teams have called Rams about potential Cooper Kupp trade

Two star wide receivers have already been traded this season after the Las Vegas Raiders dealt Davante Adams to the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns shipped Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills.

Those two moves have created some speculation about whether the Los Angeles Rams might consider trading Cooper Kupp if they continue losing and he would reportedly have a market if they decide to, Cameron DaSilva of The Rams Wire reports.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, teams have called the Rams to inquire about the availability of Kupp before the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

Sources say during a frenzy of receiver calls that teams began calling the Los Angeles Rams to inquire about the status of Cooper Kupp, who is recovering from a high ankle sprain he suffered on Sept. 15 and is officially questionable for Sunday’s game against Las Vegas.

The 1-4 Rams have not turned the page to 2025 and even considering a trade for Kupp would be complicated and multi-faceted. But the interest from teams is there, thanks in part to some of the online speculation that has happened since the season began.

Rapoport reported that “plenty of teams” looking for wide receiver help have Kupp on their list, and understandably so. He’s an All-Pro receiver on a team that’s limped to a 1-4 record, so it’s not outrageous to think the Rams might consider trading him if they don’t believe they can be a championship contender by the trade deadline.
