Despite their 6-0 record, the Kansas City Chiefs have lost several significant contributors on offense like Rashee Rice and Isiah Pacheco.  On Sunday in San Francisco, they lost an important defensive piece when cornerback Jaylen Watson when down with a fractured ankle according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Watson is slated to have more tests and imaging done on Monday to help determine if he’ll be able to return in 2024.  The 26-year-old , was a seventh-round pick in 2022 and had started all six games for the Chiefs this season. He’s recorded six passes defensed along with 32 total tackles.

The Chiefs travel west for a second week in a role when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.
