Jagaurs receiver Brian Thomas avoided a major injury in Sunday's loss to the Packers, Garry Smits of the Florida Times-Union reports.
thomas underwent an MRI on Monday morning that was negative for a broken rib, said he was hurt when he landed on his knee going for a 14-yard TD reception from Lawrence in the third period. Coach Doug Pederson described the injury as a contusion.
When the soreness goes down I'll be back out there as soon as possible," Thomas said. "I feel it. It's sore."
Pederson said Thomas' status will be monitored on a day-to-day basis as the team prepares for a road game against Philadelphia on Nov. 3.
