A large piece of metal, along with some debris, fell from the AT&T Stadium roof whilst it was being opened hours prior to Monday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans, Grant Gordon of NFL.com reports.
There were no injuries, and the roof was subsequently closed and will remain as such for the game.
"We can confirm a piece of metal came loose and fell to the field (with some additional small debris) while the roof was in the process of opening," the Cowboys said in a statement. "There were no injuries. It is being reviewed further, and a decision regarding the ability to re-open the roof safely will be made."
AT&T Stadium is a retractable roof arena located in Arlington, Texas, and has been home of the Cowboys since its completion in the spring of 2009.
