The New York Giants will "lean" on the run game in Week 11 against the Buccaneers according to Dan Graziano of ESPN.
With Tommy DeVito taking over at quarterback, Graziano makes the (reasonable) assumption that the Giants will play it conservatively on offense, which could mean a heavy dose of rookie RB Tyrone Tracy. Tracy has been efficient by every measure, averaging 5.1 yards per carry with a 47 percent rushing success rate.
He’ll face off against a Tampa defense giving up the NFL’s 14th highest rushing success rate in 2024. Tracy is locked in as a top-15 option in Week 11. The Giants have a 61 percent drop back rate on the season, 3 percent below their expected rate.
